The previous piece was intended to be short, and focus on the less-than-honorable circumstances of Roe. In essence, a troubled woman (Norma McCorvey aka “Jane Roe”) who wanted an abortion sought legal counsel to obtain one. Instead, she was used as a pawn in litigation that led to the heralded Supreme Court case. Moreover, she perjured herself regarding accusations of gang rape.
Socialism/Marxism has always been about "causes," but the only cause that matters is the enrichment and empowerment of the leaders. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.
I’m a few decades behind in learning the history of this. I was happily raising children, purposefully avoiding the news and politics. I feel like I no longer have a choice and I’d rather know what kind of monsters we are dealing with at this juncture in history. While it is true that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was passed under Dem LBJ, it would not have passed except for wide Republican support. Monumental cynicism as LBJ remarked at the time, "Now we'll have those n*****s voting Democratic for 200 years."
As Joseph Curl said recently (after Roe was removed), "I haven't seen the Democrats so mad since the Civil War took away their slaves."

She definitely was not the only pawn! The history of planned parenthood is abhorrent.
