Moloch (aka Molech) is a Canaanite deity widely identified with the practice of child sacrifice. No doubt, the parents of the doomed children were convinced that their deaths were for the “greater good,” and would assure a bountiful harvest, future fertility, and whatever else the Canaanite priests told them.
Such practices were prohibited in the Mosaic Law: “You shall not offer any of your offspring for immolation to Molech, thus profaning the name of your God. I am the Lord.” (Leviticus 18:21) This particular chapter of Leviticus is concerned with proper sexual behavior, and would certainly trigger many current pundits and influencers.
The most obvious manifestation of Moloch these days, of course, is abortion. The difference now is that no banging of drums to drown out the screams of the burning child—which might upset the parent—are needed. These days, the child sacrifice is strictly voluntary.
Heck, it’s also good for business. Many companies are offering to cover the travel expenses for any woman who must go out of state to get her “reproductive care.”
But, Moloch appears in other ways.
Consider the approval and recommendation of the so-called COVID vaccines for the youngest children (6 months and older). The ghouls in charge (GIC) of our response to the disease would like parents to remember childhood vaccines for polio, which took place in the mid-1950s to early 1960s. Only, this was done since kids were the ones who were getting polio.
But, COVID is not a problem for children, so the only rationale**, such as it is, is to protect the adults who are at greater risk—which is contrary to all known public health rubrics. Reports are already coming in (and here) regarding little kids getting seizures within a few days after receiving the shots, not to mention myocarditis and pericarditis in teens.
** Another rationale would be more profits for Big Pharma and the exercise of more raw power for the GIC.
In most cases, for vaccines to be given to children, a parent has to be involved. However, Moloch can now operate independent of the parents.
It is now the policy of Fairfax County Public Schools (suburban Washington, DC) to prohibit teachers from consulting parents when students as young as kindergarten-age switch genders at school. Be assured that Fairfax is not the only school district doing this.
While the notion of a young child being able to hide changing genders from his parents when he gets home is ludicrous on its face, the fact that a major school district could institute such a policy should scare the Hell out of everyone.
Just one more consequence of the awful school prayer decisions of the early 1960s, that ushered in our present pagan society. “Unintended consequences”? I don’t think so.
