More on the Olympics debacle

Nothing less than Satanic: Woke, pagan, and sadistic

By now, we’ve witnessed the absurd and painful spectacle of men beating women—literally—for sport, as the degenerate Olympic committee doubles down on this practice. And, that’s even after other international boxing organizations had banned at least two of the male perps from competing in events under their control.

As noted in the previous piece, several Catholic authorities have condemned the opening ceremonies, with the notable and shameful exception of Pope Francis himself. Ironically, this same pope did have time to excommunicate hero Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò. It was Viganò who—among other things—called out Francis for supporting, nay embracing the gay culture within the Vatican.

On July 28th, Viganò released a statement entitled “Vade Retro Satana” (Begone, Satan!,” as used in exorcisms.) I encourage you to read the entire 764-word essay, and have provided some excepts below:

The elite who organizes these ceremonies demand not only the right to blasphemy and the obscene display of the foulest vices, but even their mute acceptance by Catholics and decent people, who are forced to suffer the outrage of seeing the most sacred symbols of their Faith and the very foundations of the Natural Law desecrated.

Satan knows how to do nothing except ruin God’s creative perfection, showing himself as the envious author of every counterfeit. Satan creates nothing: he only ruins everything. He does not invent: he tampers. And his followers are no different: they humiliate woman’s femininity in order to erase the motherhood that recalls the Virgin Mother; they castrate man’s manhood in order to tear from him the image of God’s fatherhood; they corrupt the little ones in order to kill innocence in them and make them victims of the most abject wokeism.

Tolerance cannot be the alibi for the systematic destruction of Christian society, a society by which billions of honest and hitherto silent people identify themselves. This prevarication must end! And it must end not so much and not only because it hurts the sensibilities of believers, but because it offends the Majesty of God. Satan does not have the rights of God, evil cannot be put on the same level as Good, nor can lies be equated with Truth. This is what our civilization is based on, a civilization that some would like to bury under the physical and moral rubble of a world in shambles.

There is no doubt that these 2024 Olympics have been the worst ever. While I understand the pursuit of excellence that drives the elite athletes involved, except for the impostor “female” competitors, the modern Olympics has forfeited its claim to be any sort of worthy forum for athletic contests.

Really, at long last, why would any nation wish to host this overblown pagan fiasco? Vade Retro Satana, indeed.
